I am absolutely convinced that my school cafeteria puts some amount of laxatives in its food. No more than 10 minutes post-meal, I find myself in the same spot. Additionally there is zero nutritional value, aesthetic appeal, or benefit. I am just simply going through the motions when I swipe my meal plan card. But I cannot stop going back.

I know this is long, but give it a try...
Most recent jaunt. A friend of mine (Jacob Driggs’ mom), told me about a small town in southern Virginia named Floyd. Apparently Floyd is the getaway for many artists, writers, musicians, and the like. Always willing to take a spontaneous trip I got home from work Friday night, and got in the car. This is the story of my impulsive experience in Floyd, VA. I scratched down the ‘reliable’ directions...

Seeqpod.com →
This is a very neat site. It is a search engine for .mp3 files. You can then choose from the available options and add them into a playlist for streaming audio of your choice. Totally helps if you are craving a particular song, or can’t figure out what song is stuck in your head.  I use it all of the time to decide if I want a certain album or not by previewing it for free! Last.fm is...

Unfortunate
As some of you know, I work in the deli at the local Harris Teeter. To my surprise I looked over across the bread section into the meat/seafood department to see a former co-worker of mine.  He and I worked together at Olive Garden last spring. My reasons for leaving are irrelevant to the story. I did not know him all that well, other than the fact that we shared the same first name. He was a...

Dr. Dog- Livin' a dream
Living a dream by Dr. Dog I really dig this song. The melody is great, as are the lyrics. But the spoken word at the end of the song captures the listener and really causes one to think about the world around them. I have posted the spoken lyrics below. Feel free to leave comments and discuss. I will try and get ahold of the audio. Tumblr only lets me post mp3 and I have it in mp4. Here is Dr....
